Eugene Sofanelli
Jade Rothman
(Dirk McCloud/Vampire) - Jade is a graduate of the BFA Acting program of Ithaca College and is thrilled to still be a part of the Race McCloud team after more that two years playing Dirk in various iterations of the process. Jade has performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland How To Lock Up..., in the New York Fringe Festival Naughty Prep School Stories, and has also performed regionally at the Hangar Theatre and the Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, NY. In 2007 Jade won an Obie Award for his work in the Living Theatre's production of The Brig (directed by Judith Malina). He would like to thank Tom for this opportunity and for sticking with him through all the crazy schedules that make up his daily life. He would also like to extend countless thanks to his friends and family for their continued support - without them it would not be possible.
(Green Suit Jacket Man) - Eugene is a recent graduate of the MFA acting program at Brooklyn College and now teaches at his alma mater as a professor of undergraduate Stage Combat. He is also a registered Actor/Combatant with the SAFD. A martial artist for the past 20 years and a fencer, Eugene has been acting, choreographing and fighting professionally on stage and in film in NY and Philadelphia for the past 10 years. His most recent fight training and choreography has been showcased in the independent film Broken Crayons. Eugene has worked with Tom Hoefner before, choreographing and fight training his production of Moon Over Buffalo at St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY. It is an honor and privilege to be working with Tom on a project so close to his heart.
Cas Marino
Adam Mace
(General Jack Bullit/The Sphonx) - Cas is carefully weighing touting his years of stage experience against the benefits of lying about his age. He'll at least say that in the past two years of stage and cabaret work he has played just about every archetype to which his heart and resume aspired: a Cockney dustman and a hat-wearing Cat (SGTG's My Fair Lady and Seussical!); a blind lounge singer (Beari's Moose Murders"; a 22 year-old murder suspect (Christie's Mouse Trap); a Shakespearean sage (Gonzalo in Parkside's Tempest); a gay, spandex-clad android from outer space (Kool Obz, Wings Theater); a modernized Dickensian (Frank in Peter Mac's Lara Parker is 'Mrs. Scrooge', Producers Club); Crooner with the stars in five editions of Cabaret Cares and Divapalooza (Laurie Beechman Theater); and the dream roles of two of Harvey Fierstein's huge-hearted Drag Queens (Albin in the 20th Anniversary revival of La Cage Aux Folles and Arnold Beckoff in Black Henna's Off-off-Broadway revival of Torch Song Trilogy). The only roles missing (which he truly lamented) were those of a cammo-clad Special Ops Commander and a stone half man/half lion with self esteem issues. Many thanks to Race McCloud for completing his curricula vitae. A graduate of Syracuse University, Cas is also on the board of Black Henna Productions, and is the executive director of Art for Arts' Sake and the Independent Theater Alliance, as well as the new Fly Your Flag Higher Productions. To his two teenagers, two parents, a whole slew of wonderful friends and family, and the good Lord above: infinite thanks and praise for support beyond belief.
(Nyte McCloud/Thug): Adam is truly honored and excited to be apart of TUARMPE! Adam is no stranger to the stage, having performed throughout his life. A few favorite roles include: Judas/John the Baptist in Godspell, Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oscar Jaffe in Twentieth Century, Tito Mirelli in Lend Me a Tenor, and The Mayor of Who in Seussical. Aside from acting, Adam spends his time directing and writing as well. He founded the Mount Carmel Theatre Company in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this past year, where he serves as Artistic Director and is currently directing Urinetown the Musical. Adam also serves, alongside Tom Hoefner, as Assistant Director of the St. Joseph's College Chapel Players, his Alma Mater. Adam is currently attending New York University and plans on achieving his Master's Degree in Educational Theatre in May 2010. TUARMPE marks the 16th show that Adam has worked on with Tom Hoefner as Director.
